Jaipur - day 2

On our second day in Jaipur, we rented a taxi for the day to visit Amber Fort.

It was pretty really quite beautiful, but it was hard to enjoy with all of the attention we were getting along the way.  Everyone was constantly needing to talk to us/take our picture.  We stood out a lot, and we didn't even feel like stopping to take out our cameras, because if we stopped walking, we would get swarmed.  We occasionally spoke French to one another in order to avoid talking to all of them/having them follow us.  Jenn doesn't actually speak French though, so our French conversations weren't the greatest...  :P

Intientionally timed picture of monkeys.

Our taxi driver took us to a couple of places on the way back (he gets a commission if we buy something from one of these places).  He took us to a textiles factory/warehouse, and a jewelry shop.  We bought a couple of things at the textiles shop, and we met a lovely couple from New Zealand (Chris and Emily) at the jewelry shop who are also going to Agra tomorrow, so we're going to head down there with them.

Camels elephants, cows, and a goat - oh my (all on the way to Amber Fort)!
